He was born on March 2nd, 1957 in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He has not died yet.
Major Contribution- Dean’s main contribution to the world of computer science was the Industry Standard Archatectue(ISA) bus for the PC.
Major Academic Event- He got a Ph.D. in electrical engineering to build his career as an IBM administrator and to secure credentials to teach at the university level.
Minor Contribution- Another of Dean’s contributions was the Color Graphics Adapter(CGA) and a monochrome adapter to enhance PC monitor displays of text and images in black, white, and color.
